Goats and Ponies

Every day on the way to school and on the way home, we drive past a little pasture with goats and ponies in it. We always say "Hi goats and ponies!" (there's a rooster there too).

One day, the animals were pretty close to the road, so Daddy pulled over and let me get out of the car. The ponies came over to say hi. 

Meeting Rick Riordan

My favorite author is Rick Riordan - he wrote the Percy Jackson series about characters from Greek mythology still living in the world today. Daddy took me to meet him at a local book shop. Here's me standing by the autograph line sign.

And here I am getting my book signed my him. It was so cool!

Let's Go Fly A Kite

We went kite flying on Saturday - it was awesome. We both were able to launch the kite ourselves and we both got to fly it all by ourselves.

We made beautiful hats out of paper bags at a birthday party last week. I love my hat.
